If you are after traditional static wedding photography, perhaps we can change your mind!

We love to shoot natural and unposed shots and thus capturing the story of your day and then retelling the same by way of a series of beautiful images conveying smiles, laughter, tears and those moments of natural emotion that only a camera can capture.

Your wedding day is a day that you have spent many months or even years visualising and planning to the last detail. Indeed a day that you will celebrate for the rest of your lives. But what will you remember looking through your wedding album, several years down the road... not a lot if all you have are group shots and a few awkward poses hugging a tree!

This is not to say we don't take formal or posed shots but we do it in proportion to your story. Our aim is to record memories by the use of art, light, colour, composition, anticipation and timing all concepts ingrained into us from our love of people photography long before wedding photography was ever on the horizon.

If you have continued reading thus far, we can assume that you are someone who understands the importance of wedding photography as a bespoke product which stands distinct and separate in its own right.

We are Sharanpal and Harminder Gill and together we are Umz Photography. We are based in Coventry in the West Midlands but are able to shoot UK wide and Destination weddings.  We thank you for taking time out to look at our work.
